Women who live with mesh-related complications can seek a referral from their GP for specialist services to assist the management of their clinical situation.
There are also a number of patient-led support groups for people adversely affected by mesh-related procedures in Australia – please visit the Therapeutic Goods Administration’s Transvaginal (urogynaecological) surgical mesh hub for details and telephone numbers of consumer support services in your state.
