APFPR and Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora
The APFPR is excited to announce that Monash University and Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora have commenced their working partnership to support the collection and contribution of de-identified New Zealand participant data to the APFPR! Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora have engaged The Centre for Health Outcome Measures New Zealand (CHOMNZ) to lead the implementation and ongoing delivery of the APFPR in Aotearoa New Zealand.
The commencement of this partnership and project marks an important step toward the lifting of the current time‑limited pause on the use of surgical mesh for SUI and POP procedures in New Zealand. A substantial programme of work is now commencing to develop the implementation plan, including technical build, patient and practitioner information, onboarding of sites, data governance, and engagement with stakeholders including clinicians, consumers, sector partners and health community.
